Avigilon’s HALO 3C Smart Sensor helps detect critical events early and notify employees in a targeted manner.

Among other things, HALO detects smoke, vapor (vape), air quality, noise, cries for help, and aggressive behavior patterns. Relevant events are detected in real time and can be forwarded directly to existing security and communication systems.

The sensor operates discreetly and does not record video or audio. This makes HALO suitable even for sensitive areas such as restrooms, staff rooms, or checkout areas. This provides additional security for customers and employees without unnecessarily infringing on their privacy.

The HALO 3C Smart Sensor is an important building block within a security and communication concept. It supports store operations precisely where conventional solutions such as cameras, manual access control or simple alarm systems reach their limits. Particularly in sensitive or less frequented areas, critical situations can arise that are either not detected at all or only very late using conventional means.

HALO does not “see” or “hear” in the traditional sense: It does not record conversations or store videos. It analyzes only anonymized environmental data such as air quality, acoustic anomalies, or chemical particles. This allows critical situations to be detected early on without infringing on the privacy of customers or employees.

Avigilon’s HALO 3C Smart Sensor detects relevant environmental and security events in real time. With peiECO, this information is sent directly to the right employees and can be immediately translated into concrete actions.

Alerts from the HALO sensor are transmitted via radio, Wi-Fi, or wireless headsets. This allows employees to respond quickly when, for example , smoke, aggressive behavior, or technical malfunctions are detected.

The peiECO Dashboard consolidates all relevant information in one central location. In addition to HALO notifications, it also allows users to record and process customer requests, internal notices, and technical issues. Managers can see at a glance what has happened, what has already been completed, and where action is needed.
