Osnabrück, 03.02.2025. peicom GmbH is pleased to announce the appointment of Malte Krautwald as new Managing Director. Together with Peter Stroetmann, who will continue to act as Managing Director, Krautwald will be responsible for the strategic direction and operational management of the company. At the same time, the company relocated to Osnabrück.
Malte Krautwald was born in Münster and is a qualified industrial clerk and business economist. He completed a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration at Münster University of Applied Sciences and a Master in Sales Management at the FOM University of Applied Sciences. Having been with the company for over four years as Director of Sales & Marketing and a member of the Management Board, he has made a significant contribution to the further development of peicom’s corporate strategy over the last one and a half years. With his experience and understanding of the industry, he will drive the further development of peicom and the implementation of forward-looking projects. His focus is on strengthening the company’s innovative power and providing new impetus for growth.
Developing employees
Krautwald succeeds Reinhard Kromer-von Baerle, who is leaving peicom. In addition to his role as Chief Industrial Officer of peiker Holding, Kromer-von Baerle will in future also serve as a Board Member of peiker International Inc. in the USA will concentrate on the further development of international sales of peiker products. Krautwald is an example of how the Peiker family’s group of companies promotes young talent and gives them targeted responsibility. His development within peicom shows that targeted support and trust in committed employees not only promote individual careers, but also contribute to the company’s long-term success. Peter Stroetmann emphasizes the importance of the reinforcement: “With Malte, we are gaining an experienced manager who fits in perfectly with our corporate culture. Together, we will further expand our position in the market.” Krautwald says: “peicom stands for innovation, dynamism and customer proximity. I would like to use my experience in sales to further develop our team. Customer requirements are my top priority. I am looking forward to actively shaping the future of the company.”
Forward-looking employer
At the same time, peicom’s official headquarters were relocated from Bad Homburg, the headquarters of peiker Holding, to the existing site in Osnabrück for strategic reasons. This step underlines the importance of the Osnabrück site and serves to further optimize the company’s processes. The relocation also strengthens peicom’s position as an important employer in the Osnabrück region and the wider Münster area.
peicom GmbH, based in Osnabrück, is a Peiker family company that has been synonymous with communication for over 75 years. The team of around 20 people supports its European customers in the stationary retail sector in the areas of communication and security. By combining standard products with in-house developments, peicom offers customized solutions for a wide range of applications. This includes an all-round carefree package – starting with analysis meetings and roll-out through to after-sales. Activities focus on the digitalization and networking of stores. This includes IoT solutions, such as machine or sensor connections to specially developed ecosystems for professional communication. At the same time, peicom has built up another mainstay for communication in leisure sports by integrating peiker CEE GmbH as a brand last year.
